How do I reserve a puppy?

Contact me by call or text. (608)385-2980. Please let me know a little about yourself, or if you are referred by someone. I can let you know what I have available, and help you find the right match for you.

At what age can I get my puppy?

Legally, your puppy can leave at 8 weeks of age. I would prefer that your puppy would leave after 9 weeks so that I can make sure the puppy has had booster vaccination prior to leaving.

What will my puppy come with?

Your puppy will come with vaccination record, health certificate, sales agreement, Nutrisource puppy food, feeding instructions, a blanket with scent of mother/siblings, and a collar. Please bring an old towel along for the car ride and a leash.

Can I come to your house to pick up my puppy?

Yes, you can. I just need advanced notice to make sure I have someone available to watch my children for our visit.  I have a designated area in my garage that you can play with the puppy that I can disinfect. I try to avoid playing in the yard, as I am cautious of bringing any germs to my other dogs. Please stay in the designated area. We do have a horse facility and can not let you take a  tour, and this is our private home and request our privacy.

Can I bring my other dog to meet the puppy to see if they get along?

I'm sorry, but you cant. I have to be very careful bringing any possible germs to my other dogs.

You live far from me, can you meet part way?

Yes, I can. I can meet within  hour driving distance for no charge. If needed further, could possibly make arrangements for a travel fee.

Can I put a deposit on a puppy?

Yes, if you have decided you want to get a puppy, I ask for a $200 nonrefundable deposit, and balance at pick up time. I can not place the puppy on hold without a deposit.

Is there tax charged on the puppy?

Yes, I do have to charge MN sales tax

What form of payment to do you take?

I accept credit cards or cash, sorry no personal checks.

When should my puppy go to the vet?

Please make an appointment for within 72 hours of pick up for a wellness exam. Please read my sales agreement.

Should I get puppy insurance?

I do suggest getting puppy insurance, and can provide you with information on getting 30 days of free puppy insurance through Trupanion. You would need to activate within 24 hours of pick up.
